Payment and Shipping

Orders must be prepaid. We accept Visa, MasterCard,  Discover, American Express, PayPal's,
debit check cards and cashier's checks (no personal checks).

How your chameleon can possibly arrive safe and sound is sometimes a great mystery to our customers. It is understandable. We would like to put your mind at ease. With over 24 years of experience in safely getting beautiful living creatures from our little corner of the world to yours, we have both the know-how and the proper packing materials to insure your new friend arrives alive and healthy.

  We ship our chameleons weekly via UPS Next Day Air, Monday - Wednesday for
Tuesday - Thursday arrival. On the day of arrival, packages are delivered by 10:30 am to most areas within the United States (depending on your zip code). Someone must be there to accept delivery. Our boxes are Styrofoam insulated for optimum protection. We use  heat packs (40 hour) and cool packs whenever necessary. For your chameleon's safety, shipping will be delayed when temperatures are below 30 degrees (for the low) or above 90 degrees (for the high). Cages and dry goods are sent UPS Ground and take from 1-5 days to arrive.

Book orders are shipped each Monday unless they are sent in the same box with your chameleon(s).
 

Shipping Charges

Within the United States $65.00  (Insurance included)
Prices include up to 6 small chameleons per box. 
Higher shipping charges apply to larger orders.


*UPS has raised their rates over 68% since 1/4/05 due to higher fuel costs.  Of course these rates are subject to continued increases.
Despite the higher rates, their excellent service is still a great value considering a door to door delivery on a live chameleon.
It's now costing us more to fill our SUV for a week, than it does to ship a chameleon across country!
