| The majority of chameleon species are arboreal creatures and spend most of their lives living above the forest floor in tree canopy and shrubbry. Specifically designed with added length, our new chameleon cages allow chameleons not only the height they require, but increased lateral movement for added exercise. Exercise is an important part of chameleon health and well-being and the more "space" you provide your chameleon . . . the better!
When considering the dimension of chameleon cages, bear in mind the chameleon's size and the species you are keeping. Larger species will need larger homes. When starting with babies, begin with smaller chameleon cages and move up to a larger, more permanent size enclosure as your chameleon matures. Baby chameleons need baby cages. Once you graduate to a permanent sized setup, the smaller screened enclosure can be used as a sunning cage when your chameleon's "indoor home" is too big to carry outside. |
