Sire: "Manga-afo"
(Blue Fire)
A bit too late for the 4th of July, we submit perhaps the most
patriotic Panther Chameleon ever. “Manga-afo’s” brilliant, red, white and
blue color, make for an extremely rare and extraordinary visual experience.
His lack of or suppressed yellow pigment eliminates any hint of green or
orange. Genetic color morphs in Panther Chameleons have yet to be worked
out, as opposed to many other captive bred reptiles. It would seem that our
“Blue Fire” is “Axanthic” (Having a lack of yellow pigment and or an
appearance of lacking the expected visual contributions from yellow or
orange pigments). Only time will tell whether he or his offspring will
reproduce this fantastic color trait or not. So whether you’re patriotic and love
“The Red, White and Blue”, a breeder intrigued by the possibility of a new
Panther color anomaly, or someone looking for an exquisite, exotic addition
to your life, what could be better than an original work of living art, from
“Manga-afo”?!
