Panther Chameleon "HOLD-BACKS"

What is a "HOLD-BACK"?  As breeders, oftentimes we will select several babies from a particular group that's hatched out.  We would like to either chose a future breeder from these selections, or simply see how they turn out as sub-adults.  Since we don't need more than one animal that possesses these specific genetics, we are then left with gems we can offer to people who are looking for a more mature, captive bred animal from very nice bloodlines.
